Six years is a long time in the music business, but now at long last there is news from Jesper
Ranum, who in the late '80s and early '90s was highly active on the Danish rock scene.
In 1993 he issued the cd "SlowDown",
which was very successful in South Korea and sold more than 40,000 copies. The music on "Second" belongs in the border area between experimental pop and ambient techno, but Jesper Ranum's
distinctive mark - the good melody - is never lost. Just like its predecessor "Second" has a unique and independent sound with snatches of melodies that will haunt the listener for days. |
