A fascinating album, at times with a salsa feeling, sometimes with a Nordic sound, other times
with grooves that bring to mind Horace Silver and other swinging Blue Note artists. And throughout you can hear how both Reimann himself and the American musicians love to play. Apart from two
tunes the music is by Reimann himself. He emphasizes the melodic content and knows that the musicians must be in top form for the music to get across to the audience.
